What computer virus cascades multiple pop ups of win32?
My sister’s computer started acting up and Im trying to find out why. Im pretty sure its a virus but I want to find out what one. When she started up the laptop it loaded and displayed the login screen. As soon as she logged in the screen went black and immediatly started filling up with pop ups mentioning Win32. She tried using Ctrl+Alt+Del and it said there were no running programs. Does anyone know what it is? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Can’t tell from what you said. Your sister should scan with her anti-virus software. If she does not have one, there are a couple of free ones that are very good. Go to do download.com and get Avira or Avast. While there get Malwarebytes anti-malware. Then download, install, update. Run a scan with Malwarebytes, when done run a scan with the anti-virus software.

Living with the Virus $12.99 “UNAIDS reports more than one million Americans are living with HIV, and unfortunately more than 17,000 people died from it last year. Despite modern treatments and prevention, more than 50,000 people a year contract the virus, including author Ray Selvage. Fortunately for Ray, he and his wife have developed a system of treatments to prolong their lives in spite of the affliction. Living with the Virus explores Ray Selvage’s personal experience with HIV infection and the current biological and social issues facing those who are infected. Ray describes how HIV is spread and can be prevented. He discusses common HIV medications, the side effects of those medications, the four stages of the virus’s progression, and illnesses associated with each of those stages. ‘Living with the Virus is a welcomed addition for patients and families coping with HIV infection and its complications, especially those who are newly-infected and feel overwhelmed. I look forward to sharing it with my patients.’ John W. Baddley, MD, MSPH Chief, Infectious Disease Section Birmingham VA Medical Center” |

Methuselah’s Virus $4.79 When an eco-tourist is infected with the larvae of an ancient parasite, their effect on him is staggering. He becomes ill and dies, only to become resurrected hours later with his aging in rapid reverse. Better than any anti-aging treatment, his lined and brittle skin soon becomes smooth and supple, his thinning hair lush and full, his sagging body taut and slim once more. News of this remarkable man soon reaches Tom Bell, an aging pharmaceutical billionaire working on extending life, who makes it his business to acquire both the man and the enzyme the larvae are releasing. But the enzyme responsible for youth is old and so prone to mutation that its genetic synthesis produces a contagious virus capable of infecting people with extreme longevity. For Tom, the virus is his only means of cheating death, and he will stop at nothing to obtain it, including sacrificing the lives of those around him. In his way stands a frightened government and its law enforcement agencies, ready to kill anyone coming into contact with it. But when the stakes are this high, just how far would a government go to suppress the truth from the public? Ultimately, what happens if Methuselah’s Virus threatens to spread to the entire planet? |

Virus Of The Mind $9.29 Virus of the Mind is the first popular book devoted to the science of memetics, a controversial new field that transcends psychology, biology, anthropology, and cognitive science. Memetics is the science of memes, the invisible but very real DNA of human society. In Virus of the Mind, Richard Brodie carefully builds on the work of scientists Richard Dawkins, Douglas Hofstadter, Daniel Dennett, and others who have become fascinated with memes and their potential impact on our lives. But Richard goes beyond science and dives into the meat of the issue: is the emergence of this new science going to have an impact on our lives like the emergence of atomic physics did in the Cold War? He would say the impact will be at least as great. While atomic bombs affect everybody’s life, viruses of the mind touch lives in a more personal and more pernicious way. Mind viruses have already infected governments, educational systems, and inner cities, leading to some of the most pervasive and troublesome problems of society today: youth gangs, the welfare cycle, the deterioration of the public schools, and evergrowing government bureaucracy. Viruses of the mind are not a future worry: they are here with us now and are evolving to become better and better at their job of infecting us. The recent explosion of mass media and the information superhighway has made the earth a prime breeding ground for viruses of the mind. Will there be a mental plague? Will only some of us survive with our free will intact? Richard Brodie weaves together science, ethics, and current events as he raises these and other very disturbing questions about memes. |

The Tulip Virus $4.99 In 1636 Alkmaar, Holland, Wouter WinckelÂ’s brutally slaughtered body is found in the barroom of his inn, an antireligious pamphlet stuffed in his mouth. Winckel was a respected tulip-trader and owned the most beautiful collection of tulips in the United Republic of the Low Countries, including the most coveted and expensive bulb of them all, the Semper Augustus. But why did he have to die and who wanted him dead? In 2007 London, history seems to be repeating itself. Dutchman Frank Schoeller is found in his home by his nephew, Alec. Severely wounded, he is holding a 17th-century book about tulips, seemingly a reference to the reason for his death moments later. With the help of his friend Damien Vanlint, an antique dealer from Amsterdam, Alec tries to solve the mystery, but soon comes to realize that he and his friendÂ’s own lives are now in danger. The Tulip Virus is a fast-paced, fascinating mystery based on the real-life events surrounding the collapse of the tulip bubble in 17th century Holland – the first such occurrence in history – a story that plunges readers deeply into questions of free will, science, and religion, while showing the dark fruits of greed, pride, and arrogance. |
